4.           Gradually stir in the boiling water to thin the batter. The batter will be thin, but that’s normal.

5.           Pour the batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 30 to 35 mints, or until a toothpick inserted into it comes out clean.

3.           Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil , eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients low speed for 30 seconds, then on a high speed for 2 minutes.

4.           Stir in the boiling water, mixing until the batter smooth.

5.           Pour batter into greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

6.           Bake for 30-35 mints until a toothpick inserted into a center comes out clean.

7.           Let the cake cool before serving.
